I Got the Job! My Journey to Joining SAP’s COO Office of Industry Product Engineering

Hey everyone,

I am beyond thrilled to share some fantastic news with you all—I got the job at SAP! After a rigorous interview process, I have been accepted for the working student position within the COO Office of Industry Product Engineering. This is a dream come true, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this journey and express my gratitude.

The Journey So Far

Just a few weeks ago, I shared my excitement about landing an interview with SAP. The prospect of working at such a renowned company, known for its innovation and impact in the technology sector, was incredibly motivating. I poured my heart into preparing for the interview, highlighting my academic journey (currently in my 3rd semester at Saarland University) and my relevant work experiences, including my role as a HiWi at Fraunhofer IZFP and internships at Cisco and Deutsche Bahn.

The Interview Experience

The interview process was both challenging and rewarding. I utilized the STAR method to effectively communicate my experiences and problem-solving skills. This structured approach helped me present my qualifications clearly and confidently. But beyond my resume and technical skills, I made sure to convey my genuine enthusiasm for SAP and the opportunity to contribute to their innovative projects.

Why SAP?

For those who know me, you’re aware of my passion for technology and innovation. SAP, as a leader in enterprise application software, embodies these values and continually pushes the boundaries of what’s possible. The chance to be part of such a dynamic environment, even as a working student, is incredibly exciting. I am eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the COO Office of Industry Product Engineering.

The Moment of Truth

Today, I received the official confirmation—I have been accepted for the position! Words cannot describe how happy and grateful I am for this opportunity. It feels like a significant milestone in my academic and professional journey, and I am ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

What’s Next?

I am now preparing to join the SAP team and start contributing to their projects. I plan to immerse myself in understanding the specific initiatives within the COO Office of Industry Product Engineering and see how I can add value. I am excited to collaborate with talented professionals and learn from the best in the industry.
